This project was formed as a 50-50 joint venture between TTT and Richard Winskye, the technology developer and patent/IP owner of a new "Glue and Connect" Building Construction System that allows for significant materials and labor costs reduction (estimated at 50%), while maintaining all required structural integrity and energy efficiency requirements. Due to composite/resin material selection, maintenance costs are expected to be reduced significant due to minimized climate/weathering effects from cold/sun/rain/snow/etc. Buildings are lightweight yet earthquake proof, have no product/materials waste and are environmentally very low impact.
This process utilizes specifically designed and premanufactured component parts in wood, composites or other equivalent materials, which are easily fitted together in a systematic fashion, as each component fits with the next one in a "tongue and groove/overlapping edges" method, creating double reinforcement. Components are immediately and permanently attached through use of optimized adhesives, creating an extra strong, uniformly tight structure, creating in effect a "one piece construction". A unique aspect of the erection process is that it starts at the base corner of the building, and installing all the structural framing materials and all covering materials all at the same time. By the time the roof is installed, the whole building is completed including exterior and interior walls, floors, ceilings and outlet supply ports for all electrical and plumbing services.
Prototype building cost estimates range from 5 to 7 US Dollars per square foot Maximum (about 60 US Dollars per square meter). A typical 1,000 to 2,000 square foot home may be erectable in about 2 days, and does not require highly trained personnel.
All types of residential buildings will be available in kit form, with a detailed construction manual, through TTT crews may be available in select countries to assist in erection if desired. Interested parties may:
