TTT Charitable Foundation


The TTT Inc. family of companies strive to devote 10% of operating profits to specific categories of charitable projects worldwide.

  1. Infant-Toddler Childcare: in coordination with Non-Profit Organizations (TNS, TMM, etc) and Churches (for example: Saguaro Christian Church)

  2. Low-Cost Housing: in coordination with Habitat for Humanity. Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry that work in partnership with people in need to build and renovate decent, affordable housing. The houses are sold to those in need at no profit and with no interest charged. Also supported is the veterans housing and rehabilitation effort Esperanza en Escalante.

  3. Health-Care Services: The Way of the Heart: The Promotora Institute

  4. TTT and Saguaro Christian Church have joined the DEPIN non-profit organization in the planning and construction of a Medical Clinic in Magdalena/Sonora/Mexico to provide affordable high quality medical care to under-served indigenous populations in Sonora in a culturally sensitive fashion. www.ttthg.com/magdalenaclinic

  5. US-Mexico Border relations: in conjunction with Border Links.

  6. The Institute for Research on African Women, Children & Culture (IRAWCC) is a non-profit entity supported by TTT Nigeria Development Company which is focused on empowering women and children with the necessary economic, political, social/cultural, and spiritual tools to help guide the development of Africa. www.ttthg.com/irawcc

  7. Business Microloans: patterned after Grameen Bank (India) initiative, these are small business loans to encourage self-sufficiency initiatives, mainly in less developed countries in Latin America, Africa, Asia. See www.bancomun.org for an example in Mexico.

  8. United Nations Association: The United Nations carries out a wide variety of critical social/economic development initiatives worldwide no other organization can/will tackle. In many countries citizen/business groups support UN initiatives through locally managed United Nations Association chapters in the USA and Internationally.

  9. The struggle against discrimination of all kinds has been dear to many TTT staff and partners. The fight against racial and ethnic tensions is especially an ongoing concern. TTT staff have played a leadership role in the annual Racial Reconciliation Conference in Tucson/Arizona, bringing leaders from across the USA/Mexico to a 4 day program of reflection, study, debate and celebration of multicultural arts. www.ttthg.com/rrcon

  10. Care for our Senior Citizens the Elderly has also been an ongoing TTT concern. TTT staff has served on the founding Board of the NBA Estes Gardens retirement home for low income seniors in Tucson/Arizona, a 57 unit new facility built in conjunction with US HUD, and inaugurated in 2004.
    TTT staff were also cofounders of the Eastside Neighbors Volunteer Program, Inc (ENVP), which assists Seniors on the eastside of Tucson/Arizona to remain in their homes with dignity, by providing volunteers transportation to doctors visits and grocery shopping, light housework and minor home repairs, etc. www.ttthg.com/envp

  11. Solving HOMELESSNESS is a complex issue, requiring assistance to individuals ready to take personal responsibility, with services ranging from daily shelter, to medium term transitional housing, job training, counseling, substance abuse prevention, etc. The Primavera Foundation in Tucson has for decades been the leading organization providing these services, and TTT staff in coordination with Amerischools College Preparatory Academy and Saguaro Christian Church have assisted in both meal serving and home construction programs. www.Primavera.org

  12. In times of crisis women and children often are the first to feel the brunt of abuse. Offering victims of SPOUSAL AND CHILD abuse a short, medium and longterm support with housing and job training, has been the focus for 30 years of TMM FAMILY SERVICES INC (a spinoff from Tucson Metropolitan Ministries), which TTT staff has supported in various ways. www.tmmfs.org

  13. Many Native American Indian communities have significant challenges accomodating to an a rapidly changing world. TTT staff in coordination with Saguaro Christian Church has supported scholarships and construction projects at the Hopi Mission School on the Hopi Reservation in Arizona. www.hopimissionschool.org

  14. The music may be over, but the ministry of Audio Adrenaline continues through the Hands and Feet Project, a children's village the band started in Cyvadier, Haiti in 2004. With frontman Mark Stuart's parents in Haiti running the project, they currently provide a loving home for 22 orphaned children and will probably grow to 40 by the end of the year. The mission is to care for orphans and to expose the 1st world to the fatherless. Their vision is to raise a generation of Haitian children who will help change their country. The band is very passionate about raising awareness for the state of children in Haiti, and will soon partner with other artists to build homes for children in other impoverished countries.   15. Engineers Without Borders - USA (EWB-USA) is a non-profit humanitarian organization established to partner with developing communities worldwide in order to improve their quality of life. This partnership involves the implementation of sustainable engineering projects, while involving and training internationally responsible engineers and engineering students. The Southern Arizona Professional Chapter (SAPC) has applied to help a community in Salamanca, Mexico that has access to water for only four hours a day and can be without water for a month or more. Improvements to existing water pump and evaluation of the existing storage tank needs to be done to determine whether or not it is in usable condition.
